Native Youth Spring Summer 2014 Collection

Launching their second Spring Summer collection Manchester born brand Native Youth are showing no signs of slowing momentum, this season bringing a chromatic colour explosion to the brand’s editorial. The collection which sees technical pieces including the windbreaker and fisherman jacket paired with colour block T-shirts and acid washed indigo jersey brings a relaxed but confident feel to the collection for SS14.

Native Youth collection is available at various UK independent and online at asos.com & urbanoutfitters.co.uk + Beams in Japan.

Oliver Sweeney ss14 Press day

The Oliver Sweeney ss14 footwear collection was presented to press today as well. A lot of their staples got a new treatment for ss14. There was also a use of the Fin project extralight xl sole which keeps the shoes light but still durable. Said to be a new technology developed by the brand.

Trine Lindegaard Spring Summer 2014 Collection

Trine Lindegaard delivers a sterling spring summer collection continuing with her African trappings still based around the Kente Fabric from Ghana. Asides from working with a Kente Weaving Family in Accra, Ghana she also enlisted the help of prisoners in the Uk for needlework on the sweat shirts.

My favourite part of any Trine Lindegaard collection these days is that it always tells a story and manages to highlight a cause.

NYFW: Richard Chai Men's Spring/Summer 2014

For Spring/Summer 2014 Richard Chai takes inspiration from geometric shapes, executing them in a way that feels soft and fluid. Unexpected combinations of contrasting elements are thoughtfully translated to emphasize a sense of interplay and juxtaposition, while maintaining Chai's signature sophisticated design aesthetic. The runway show also debuted select styles of leather jackets from the new Andrew Marc x Richard Chai collaboration.
