Louis Leeman Enlisting and Resisting Fall / Winter 2015 – 2016

For AW15 2015 the Louis Leeman collection was inspired by the Navy world. Creative directors Louis Leeman and Erica Pelosini tried to explore a world that has always been associated to the main traits of Manhood: Bravery, Strength, Pride, Discipline, and Elegance. The colors of the collection recall the crisp navy blue and white uniforms, the classic mix of jungle greens to the khaki service colors, a splash of plaid and a staple of the utilitarian vision of surplus, camouflage.

Oliver Sweeneys ‘made in Italy’ line of footwear and accessories for spring summer 2015 employs luxury materials, hand-burnished leather fused with new patterns to create a vibrant feel for the London based British brand.

I’m personally a fan of their more informal shoes like the 100% leather sneakers from the Compass Collection that retail a lot cheaper but are better in quality and durability when compared to other ‘it’ sneakers.

They’ve upgraded their offerings and added some manbags which are not anything exciting but really practical and some parts made from buffalo leather.

New Balance Barcelona Store Opening

Yesterday evening saw the opening of the New Balance Barcelona global experience retail store.

Thanks to the Adidas collabo which is unabashedly Raf Simons I was able to cop the Response 2 sneakers from this series -albeit more expensive than they retail for on Mr Porter- and if I could cop one more... it would be this.

Givenchy Fall 13 Leather High Top Sneakers

Fall might be weeks ahead of us going by the Indian Summer we are experiencing in the UK but its not too early to stock up. These Givenchy Fall 13 leather high top add an interesting metal band just on top of the heel.

ZZZ (Triple Z) at The Crepe City London Sneakers Market

 Exactly a week ago i was at the Crepe City Sneaker market in Shoreditch, East London and i stumbled upon a sneaker customization outfit known as Tripple Z... i got their stickers which had ZZZ on them and somehow lost it... tried to pull up their contact info via Google but it brought no useful results :( ... anyway i would be on the look out for them and if i manage to get a hold of it, i would update this post and re-share across my social media platforms so y'all know to follow.

Lusting: adidas Originals Crazy 8 Tennis

 These adidas original Crazy 8 sneakers have got me soooo crazy in lust its insane.... i want all of them even though it doesn't make economic sense ... Sneakers from the 90's are making their way back onto the fashion radar and i'm loving most of them. Wish i was old enough to appreciates sneakers at that time.
