RAF SIMONS ADIDAS OZWEEGO 2 SNEAKERS

Raf Simons has always been one of my fav designers but up till recently I was not able to cop anything from the brand. Thanks to the Adidas collabo which is unabashedly Raf Simons I was able to cop the Response 2 sneakers from this series -albeit more expensive than they retail for on Mr Porter- and if I could cop one more... it would be this.

Raf Simons X Fred Perry AW13 Collection

The AW13 Raf Simons x Fred Perry collection is classically Mod inspired on the one hand and Americana inspired on the other. The classic Fred Perry shirt is updated with a checkerboard pattern and this season’s knitwear and outerwear, such as the classic Harrington jacket serve up traditional Mod styles. Mod inspired checked patterns are applied to woven shirts. 

Americana influences can be seen with ‘Fred Perry’ in oversized letters and collegiate inspired knitwear finished with twin tipping. A key piece of the collection is the varsity jacket with an oversized Laurel Wreath on the reverse available in both burgundy and black.

 Other key pieces include contrast paneled and multi-pattern woven shirts, a knitted Fred Perry shirt in checkerboard, knitwear with appliquéd collegiate inspired initials and a classic duffle coat in an electric blue. The collection is designed in warm deep colours including bottle green, burgundy, mustard and navy combined with strong colour pops such as lilac, electric blue and a smidge of orange.

Raf Simons X Adidas 2014 Spring Summer Collection

 Raf Simons is giving long time adidas collaborator Jeremy Scott a run for his money with these space inspired sneakers. The minute you stare at them you kinda feel its something Justin Beiber and other celebs who've signed up for the Virgin Galactic trip should be wearing. I do love em but if they are going to be as gargantuan in shape like their predecessors then i might have to skip. Their widths are a bit on the large size and make you feet seem like those of some folk tale giant. But hey, we will never know till these land in stores February 2014.

Cop or Drop: Adidas by Raf Simons Paris Fashion Week

These shoes were spotted on the Raf Simons runway during its Paris Fashion Week a/w13 show and more word reaching us is they are available in about 5 colorways and would be released in June. Personally I'd not invest in these but well let's see... these things can creep on you.
