Milan, 19 December 2013 – Gianni Versace SpA announces that the next capsule collection for Versus Versace will be designed by Anthony Vaccarello. Anthony Vaccarello will collaborate on a collection featuring ready-to-wear and accessories. The collection will be launched at a special event, details of which will be announced in 2014.
It is the latest collaboration for Versus Versace and it is part of it’s strategy of seasonless collections and collaborations that are immediately available online for the digital generation. 31-year old Anthony Vaccarello is one of fashion’s hottest new stars. Born in Brussels and a student at the city’s La Cambre, he went on to win the 2006 Hyères Festival.
Anthony Vaccarello launched his own Paris-based label in 2008, and has become known for his audacious cutting techniques and body-baring gowns. In 2012, he won the prestigious ANDAM Award, confirming his place as one of fashion’s most-watched new talents.
