Trevor Appleson for Drake's

Michael Hill’s (Drake’s CEO) interest in Trevor Appleson’s work first began through the artist’s exhibitions at Hales Gallery. The current collaboration developed (after the two were recently reunited) from discussions about developing a series of photographs that represent Drake’s, inspired by Appleson’s contemporary art practice. An obvious reference point to these discussions was the well-known and established partnership between Marc Jacobs and Juergen Teller.
