Richard Chai for Palladium Launch Event

Last night on Tuesday, October 20th, Richard Chai (www.richardchailove.com) celebrated the launch of his Richard Chai for Palladium Holiday Pop-Up Shop. Created in collaboration with art/architecture firm Snarkitecture the pop-up shop, at Odin New York, 199 Lafayette Street, showcases Richard's collaboration with Palladium boots, which consists of two styles in custom felt and corduroy fabrications. The installation is a large cube with a single entrance. Inside, everything exists twice: the bottom half of the space is completely white, including four white cast replicas of the boots; sitting on top of these are the actual boots, which appear to float as the top half of the cube is completely mirrored.  Last night guests celebrated the launch along with Richard while enjoying refreshments courtesy of Heineken.
