Harry Styles is morphed into a well dressed gentleman and shed his boyband look opting for tailored wardrobe staples. He recently caused a sartorial stir at the recent American Music Awards and his look yesterday at the British Fashion Award has cleared whatever doubts I might have had about his tastes. He was easily the best dressed in a Lanvin pinstripe suit. Marks & Spencer pulled a major coup by dressing models David Gandy and Oliver Cheshire in their Best of British upscale range.

Other stylish gents on the red carpet included Nick Grimshaw, Anthony Hamilton, Edward Enninful and designer Tom Ford.

The Winners of the 2014 British Fashion Awards Revealed in London

Craig Green - Winner of the Emerging Menswear Award

Over 2000 guests that included the likes of Rihanna, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell & Harry Styles gathered to celebrate the success of the British Fashion Industry in the past year. The winners were selected after rounds of votes were cast by a 400 man strong panel that consisted of members of the global fashion industry.

Winners on the night were Craig Green for emerging menswear designer of the year and JW Anderson for menswear designer of the year, which thoroughly deserved. Edward Enninful also walked away with the Isabella Blow Award for fashion creator of the year. Rihanna made a surprise appearance for her friend Mr Enninful.
