Lyle & Scott strides towards AW12 with a confident and comprehensive collection that is as stylish as it is functional. Providing contemporary protection against the elements, there is also a generous nod to the classic British style that is the brand’s hallmark evident throughout.   

The first story, ‘On the Road’ is a  70s road trip that incorporates coloured ribs, jacquard knits, jersey, twill shirting and bold window pane checks in an array of retro fabrications and patterns. A speckled navy shawl collar jacket and a wool twill duffle coat, in either navy or grey, provides a robust shield for when the roof is down. A jacquard crew neck pullover in merino wool comes in Navy, Deep Steel and Grey marl whilst a Guernsey sweater also in lambswool comes in the same colourways but with contrast detail at the cuff and hems. A hardwearing heavy duty twill shirt is available in Rose Brown and Boathouse Blue and other highlights include a hard wearing chambray granddad sweater and charcoal wool worker trousers that complete the retro vibe.
