HACKETT LONDON OPENS FLAGSHIP STORE IN MILAN

Quintessentially British men’s outfitter, Hackett London, continues with its European expansion by opening a flagship store in Milan. Located on Via Manzoni in the heart of Milan’s fashion district, this is the first Hackett London store in Italy after a number of years trading exclusively through many of Italy’s top wholesale accounts. The opening of this retail space is in line with Hackett’s approach of opening flagship stores in key cities throughout the world.

Italy continues to be an important market for Hackett, with the brand showing on a stand at both Pitti Uomo and Pitti Bimbo trade shows in Florence over the last seven years. The company has taken its time to find a store, holding out for a suitable location which reflects Hackett’s position as a luxury brand.

The Milan flagship is a 3,500 sq ft store, set across two floors, within a beautiful stone clad building with exposed vaulted ceilings. The store concept brief is to merge the restored historical Milanese architectural features with Hackett’s strong approach, creating a mix of tradition and contemporary that perfectly reflects the very essence of Hackett. The store will be a showcase for the whole Hackett London range from casualwear, to formal suiting and kidswear. It will also include garments related to Hackett’s sponsorships ranging from Aston Martin Racing and the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race to summer and winter polo.

Hackett London now has 37 stand alone stores and 44 concessions worldwide.
