London based menswear designer, Archer Adams, releases his Autumn '10/Winter '11 eight piece "blunt cut" tie collection in a range of English and dupioni woven silks. Retailing at £79.00/$125.00, Archer Adams "Blunt Cut" ties are handmade in England with a 7cm/2.75" straight `blunt' tip. Available in a mix of tartans and unusual solids the Archer Adams silk tie collection is fresh, modern, and most important, wearable!

The eponymous modern British menswear brand, Archer Adams, operates a flagship shop and design studio in Marylebone, Central London. Archer Adams designs and manufacturers a collection of 'own brand' menswear in the UK and wholesales worldwide to select accounts. The brand is especially favoured by men who work in the creative industries, i.e., musicians, publishing, design, film and other free thinkers.

The Archer Adams ties look very nice. It's nice to see the way he is doing his "Blunt Cut" with woven silk instead of the usual knitted.

I'd be interested to see a photo of what a blunt tie looks like on. For me, I usually go for the skinny tie.

I'm a traditionalist and am not sure how I feel about the idea of a blunt tie. I suspect that I would constantly feel as though the end of my tie had been snipped off.

I think you have to accessorize a tie with a clip!

The "Blunt Cut" ties are a great 'peacock piece' of clothing. Especially as these are made of silk. Great idea. They don't look too wide either. Looks like I need to get my hands on an Archer Adams tie...

Innovative, I'll give it that. But I don't think this will work with formal wear.

Take note!!!
