Florian Rope Necklace

It was only a matter of time before chunky rope necklaces were to show up on mens fashion radar after the impressive acceptance and patronage chunky knit scarves enjoyed. It took the genius thinking of Austrian designer Florian Lastaetter a graduate of Metal Design from the University of the Applied Arts in Vienna to bring them into reality.
He has collaborated with numerous designers and corporations to create original designs, including a range of chandeliers for Lobmeyr in Vienna, showpieces for Hussein Chalayan and a range of jewellery for Elizabeth Arden.
I find his work flawless and i love the versatility these rope necklaces offer as they can be shaped and tied according to personal taste. Available @ Oki-Ni.

I've got to say I'm not too impressed with the rope look.
Firstly, it makes you look like a horse, and secondly it puts a dangerous idea in kids' heads; all it takes is one skipping-rope strangulation incident and it's all over.
Hold on, was the post dates April 1st...?

To be honest it's not my cup of tea.

Hope all is great with you, dear
