More from NY Fashion Week

Band of Outsiders had a very seaworthy collection , Scott Sternberg was pulling all these vibes and keeping things cool with subtle pastels and slim cut trousers. The predominant footwear in the collection were boat shoes. Christophe Lemaire has always been impressive with Lacoste and their spring 2010 collection saw them goin back to their essence as a sportswear brand. Excellent use of baseball jackets, shorts and nylon trousers.
Loden Dager kept things eclectic for their spring 2010 collection with a bit of accesorises and interesting footwear. The silhouettes were loose and in a carefree way but also chic. Love the use of color and fabrication.
Richard Chai just started to imress me with his menswear, although he's a genius for womenswear. It was cool to see shorts layered over leggings and sleeveless suit jackets in his collection. I'm not sure about his baggy cut trousers seeing much patronage outside the runway though.
Shipley & Halmos presented a beautiful spring 2010 collection, its always nice to see men's collection that are more than just suits and trousers. I've not seen the vibrancy of colors like i did in Milan and Paris earlier , but this collection added some uplifting bright colors.
Victor Glemaud did not stray too far from his signature knits buts it was cool to see him infuse more color in to his collection. The collection had a sports feel like a lot more American collections which seem to be most influenced by sports showing how big the sports industry and its influence is in America.
William Rast continue their love for denim and jackets depicting the southern American look to a great extent. The silhouettes were clean and lean, flattering for a well toned body.
Yohji Yamamoto's work with Adidas for Y-3 turned out some inspiring looks for me, i love the slim track bottom worn by the model holding a soccer ball, and the rest of the collection can be worn safely by an artsy person.

Love the sports range, and we are seeing increasing style amongst top sports stars. I love Stella McCartney's impact with the adidas sports range.
