There are times that even i had to really think before pairing an odd jacket to my outfit. In menswear it's rare to find the flexible usage of color. Most colors were branded feminine until recently when labels like Ralph Lauren started using teal, turquoise and electric blue. Still there's still a certain fear to tread these paths, people will rather leave it to the dandies. The trick in wearing an odd jacket is complementing. If the colors complement each other then you're good.
When wearing odd jackets its best to pair them with neutral darker colors to tone them down so you do not appear garish. So come on guys add a little adventure to your sartorial nuances, get out there and cop those odd jackets.Photos courtesy Ralph Lauren.
