Carlos Campos grew up learning the fundamentals of design from his father, a classic tailor. Born in Honduras, at the age of 13 Campos moved to New York City where he saw creativity and inspiration. He studied fashion at the Fashion Institute of Technology and upon graduation helped create costumes for plays like "The Invention of Love," "The Graduate," and "Fiddler on the Roof," among others. In 2007, Campos presented his first collection of high-end menswear from his namesake line. Applauded for his suit structure and flawless tailoring, Campos received a Rising Star Award from the Fashion Group International and was a finalist in the Ecco Domani Fashion Fund. In 2007, his fall collection was named as the Best Menswear during Mexico City Fashion Week.
