The West is Dead Spring 2011

In an effort to starve the Plains Indians, the United States government sanctioned the extermination of millions of bison. By 1889, the American Bison population had been decimated, their population falling from over 60 million to 1,091 in less than a century. Today, the west is dead and the wild bison are all but extinct. By purchasing our products you are contributing to the preservation of our remaining Wild West.

EDWIN SS11 - IVY LEAGUE MEETS HONEST LABOUR

Inspired by the Jack Nicholson flick ‘5 Easy Pieces’ the Edwin SS11 Collection is inspired by Nicholson’s character who plays the part of a promising upper-class classical pianist, who runs off to pursue seemingly honest laboring work within the oil fields of middle America. The sun-soaked colors and oil stained denims reflective of the duality of Nicholson's character; the refined mind of an artist meets the rugged natural wear of hard graft.

Burkman Bros Launches Shop-In-Shop at Welcome Stranger!

This past Sunday, March 20th from 2:00PM to 5:00PM, designers Ben and Doug Burkman of Burkman Bros made an in-store appearance at their Shop-In-Shop at Welcome Stranger  in San Francisco to celebrate the arrival of their Spring 2011 collection.

Their utilitarian take on classic American menswear achieves its distinction from a well-traveled point of view, giving their casual, but tailored collections a sense of comfort and ease.
The Shop-In-Shop reflects the spring 2011 inspiration of Sri Lankan beach landscapes and nautical fishing ports. Guests enjoyed tropical rum punch cocktails and had the opportunity to win exclusive giveaways with their purchase such as Burkman Bros friendship bracelets and bandanas.

Christian Westphal´s Spring 2011 collection

Christian Wesphal spring summer 2011 collection is a looser, a little more colorful and a lot more casual chic than fall, but his formula for quirky cuts is basically unchanged. After all, even the most die-hard urban warrior needs a break from black once in a while.

I’ve been gone for a few months posting irregularly since November last year. Thanx to all of you who kept coming back and for all the love messages you sent. During the period I stopped active posting I was intensifying heat on my other blog second son which was at a crucial point in its growth stage.
