Manchic Summer Footwear

If you're gonna come out victorious in your sartorial battles this summer you best have a very solid foundation. Shoes are the foundation of your wardrobe and seasons do determine the ones you put in storage and the ones you display on your shoe rack. This summer certain shoes are du jour-
Espadrilles : Once peasant shoes but no more, they've been in existence for centuries and have demonstrated that they have staying power by showing up on the fashion radar each year. Espadrilles can be worn with shorts or trousers and paired with a cardigan or blazer. They are one of the most versatile shoes men can have. Canvas Boat Shoes : Most summer apparel emphasize freedom and relaxation, portraying the general mood. Canvas Boat Shoes are as comfortable as walking barefeet, best worn without socks for aeration and they can go to the beach in the day and the bar at night. They work well with casual fabrics like jeans or chinos and you pair them with a denim jacket or double breasted blazer.
Tasseled Loafers : Could be without tassels but i personally prefer tassels because they give the shoes character. I usually prefer flat soled shoes since they appear smarter and dressier so opt for one with a flat sole. Suede and other muted color tones are preferable as opposed to black. Best worn sockless and can be dresses up with a blazer, sports coat or simple plain tee.
Brogues : Are your best bet for more formal wear to the office, save the patent leather shoes for rainy days and winter. when it comes to leather brown's my best color, it shows the richness and quality of the leather. The punch details are more appealing when the shoe is brown :o]
Sandals: They are chic and comfy enough for weekend brunch. Suits events like a barbeque garden party, picnic at the park , stroll on the beach ... Best worn with shorts or pegged/cuffed trousers.

That wrist watch is best if you wear a one button tuxedo suit in any color.
