Wearing Colored Footwear

The key to rocking colored footwear is all about balancing. A man is free to wear whatever color of footwear he fancies but one has to be careful so you do not look like a slob. The most important thing to do is wearing darker outfits on a bright colored footwear. Colors like black and white go with any color of footwear so does tan.

In the picture above, purple shoes were executed perfectly with a dandy touch, pairing them with tan colored khaki's and a blue blazer.
Here also red is not a difficult color to coordinate as it blends with most colors
Bright yellow sneakers been paired with grey and white toned down the color and made the whole outfit regal.
Green driving shoes here too matched perfectly with white pants.

Remeber you are never completely dressed without a smile and the important element in any outfit is the confidence and poise the wearer exudes.

Pegged Pants

This trend was so ubiquitous this year, especially during Fashion events like the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, New York Fashion week... Since the entrance of colored socks in various patterns Men have decided to cut their pants at the ankle to reveal their socks or roll it up.
Pegged pants are very manchic and add a bit of ecletic appeal to an outfit. Whether you are rocking Jeans or Khaki's you almost can never go wrong with pegging. It gives this elegant without too much effort look to the wearer.
As temperature falls in the temperate zones we would see less of this trend , unless of course you are somewhere in Brazil or Africa. Looking forward to it next spring, if my fashion barometer's analysis are 90% correct.

Last looks of Summer

I love these shoes a lot! they're so alluring. We saw a couple of silk shorts this summer like the one pictured above.
Who knew soccer jocks could rock trendy shorts this good. Cristiano looked astounding in these shorts!.. and oh the crutches??? he was recuperating from a surgery.
Ed Westwick also pushed the lines with this super short shorts like the one Cristiano was wearing above and he did it nattily!! look out for him in more shorts during the season two of Gossip girl whic has started showing.
What i loved the most about this outfit were the colors. They blended perfectly!
Hmmn, the structured shorts look. This was a new trend this spring summer, be sure to see more of it next year too. what i loved the most about summer this year were the shorts, guys finally proved that they still got fresh stuff to offer sartorially!!!! So if you did not get to rock any of these looks this year, next years gonna come around and you'll get another chance.

Obama Tees

Barack Obama seems to get everthing right, who would have thought 2 years ago that he would become such a strong brand himself. From garnering support from most of tinseltown's most influential figures to landing numerous magazine covers you begin to wonder whether he's a movie star or billionnaire. There's a lot of support change merchandise available of which all proceeds go to the campaign fund. These tees are the in thing now as election draws closer, so why wait for election week buyer frenzy, go out and buy now or shop online.

Male Gladiators

Gladiator sandals have always been boyish until the recent mass attack by women as they continue to steal and even patent some forms of menswear that people start to think they originally belonged to them. Well I’m sure that the ancient Roman gladiators were not women and these sandals are as eponymous as they can be. There's something alluring about them that makes the wearer feel a little more stylish which results into improved self confidence. Not only are they feet chic, they're also de riguer and every fashion forward male should have at least 2 pairs.

Be mindful though that if you intend to walk down this urban metrosexual path, you’d have to go through pedicure so you don’t have ugly looking stinky feet that’ll make stuff that’s supposed to be appealing, appalling.

Marc-Bohemian-Jacobs

Alright Marc Jacobs for reasons best known to him decided to separate himself from the male pack by rocking skirts not once but a couple more times during the NY fashion week. Marc i got your back always but i gotta say i'm not down with this skirt thing. Its okay as a traditional garb cos it represents a nations heritage.
Not everything about his look is bad! so lets point out the good:

White shirt-Probably the first dress shirt you owned and the last you'll wear. Nothing ever goes wrong with a plain white dress shirt.

Skirt-??????????

Gladiator Sandals-I'm with you on this one Marc. Beautiful design and very feet chic, everyone should own at least a pair-i own 2- in black or brown.

Technicolor Jeans

Following the good showing at the recently concluded NY Fashion week, it seems like Technicolor jeans are going to enjoy a lot of patronage next spring. They appeared on the fashion radar this year, and if you asked me 2 years ago, if i was gonna wear technicolor jeans i would have told you no. But now all thats changed as i am now a proud owner of at least a pair(red).

Scene on the street: NY Fashion Week 2008

Now this was my Favorite look on the street from the recently concluded Ny fashion week. Shoes: Trickers, Tote: LL Bean... i loved the pocket square and pegged jeans
Kinda reminds me of peter pan! love the double breasted cardigan and shorts. but the most interesting thing about the outfit were the shoes. Looked like a Visvim product.

I remember these twin brothers who also happen to be designers from an old issue of complex magazine i had, but i already discarded it.. anyone who know them should please leave a comment.
This sure was one daring outfit but kudos to him , he pulled it off savvily.

Nice bag!

Michael Bastian Spring 09 NY Fashion Week

Think classic American style, splendid good life richly deserved by the privileged... that's what this collection exuded for me. It was by and large the best menswear collection at the show. These are the sort of clothes that magnates and billionnaires or anyone else in the upper echelon of the society should rock.Every piece told it's own story and the colors were very appealing and uh! gosh! Michael Bastian sure worked his magic here and left me completely awed.
Pay attention to the cuts of the pants, all slim fit!!!!
Now doesn't this look awesome,omg!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm feeling this outfit, it might just eliminate my insecurity over double breasted suits(jacket).

Classic American style at it's best.

Well all good things must come to an end. i loved every bit of my reviews for one of the most awesome fashion events this year. Special thanks to all my readers for being with me on this journey, y'all know i got nothing but love for u.
